- How payment works
- You pay for the energy you use, measured in kWh. The price per kWh is shown on the charger before you start, and it is the same as the price at the top of this page. If the charger has a start fee, that is shown too. You get a receipt on the screen, or by email if you enter your address.
- What 150 kW means in practice
- 150 kW is what the charger can deliver. How much the car takes is decided by the car. Most newer EVs charge from 10 to 80 percent in 20 to 30 minutes. Speed is highest when the battery is nearly empty and drops as it gets full. That is why it often pays to drive on at 80 percent.
- Steadier charging in winter
- A cold battery accepts power more slowly. Outdoors below zero, the car may spend the first minutes warming the battery before speed picks up. Indoors at Årvoll it stays above freezing, so the battery is warmer when you plug in and charging is steadier. You also stay dry while you connect.
- If the charger does not start
- First check that the cable is fully in and the car is unlocked for charging. Some cars need the charge port opened in their app. If it still does not start, try another charger. Current operates the chargers and has phone support around the clock. They can see the charger from their side and can often start it for you while you wait.

For businesses
Fleets can pay on the terminal like everyone else, or sign an agreement. With an agreement you get access in the Current app, where you control the chargers yourself and top up the balance by card or Vipps.

The fast chargers use CCS, the standard on new electric cars in Norway. The cable is on the charger.
At 150 kW most electric cars need around 20 to 30 minutes from a low state of charge to about 80 percent. The speed is set by the car and by the temperature.
