The difference between washing and polishing
Three words that are often mixed up. Here is what they mean in practice.
Wash
A wash removes dirt, road salt and dust. The car gets clean, but the paint does not get smoother.
Polishing
Polishing removes scratches and dullness in the paint itself. We take off a thin layer, and the gloss comes back.
Sealant
A sealant adds a protective layer on the paint after polishing. Dirt sticks less, and the car stays clean longer.
The order is always the same. Wash first, then polishing, then sealant.
Want to wash it yourself
Self service wash is a different product. You wash the car yourself in the hall, without a booking, around the clock.
Common questions
Polishing usually takes a working day. We tell you how long your car needs when you book, because it depends on size and the condition of the paint.
Yes. Car care is done by an employee, and we set aside time for your car. Self service wash and charging need no booking.
Yes. Call 413 91 313 Monday to Friday 10.00–18.00 and we will book a time. You can also send the form and we will get back to you.
Yes. Charging is at the same site, and the car can charge while we work on it. Tell us when you book and we will plan for it.
Polishing removes scratches and dullness in the paint. A sealant adds a protective layer on top of the finished paint. Polishing corrects, sealant protects.
It depends on the product, the driving and how the car is washed. We state the durability of the product we use when you book, rather than print a number here we cannot stand behind.
